Business Practice 201
This session is designed for practice partners and experienced practice administrators who want a deeper understanding of business management for midwifery practice groups. Favorite topics from past Business Practice 201 sessions will be repeated, including tools and techniques to get partners and other midwives working together; contracts and management protocols; financial roles and responsibilities; and reading financial statements. This year, we're adding new professional advice on building and maintaining an excellent administrative staff as well as practical tips for setting management goals and tracking performance. A TPA administrator will explain funding relationships and processes between the MPG, the TPA, and the Ministry that affect day-to-day and long-term decisions in an MPG.
