Emergency Skills Workshops
The number of ESWs offered in 2010 has increased. Click here for dates, locations and to register. Registration for the first few ESW events is now open. Registration for all other ESW Courses will be available as venues are confirmed, so check back often.
Clinical Practice Guideline Development: Strengthening the Knowledge Translation Process
This full -day workshop will engage midwives and other stakeholders in strengthening the process of knowledge translation and clinical practice guideline (CPG) development at the AOM. During the day, participants will look at how evidence is defined and utilized in midwifery practice, improve and build on critical appraisal skills, and be introduced to the GRADE guideline development methodology. This day is a special opportunity for those involved in the research, writing and approval of AOM CPGs to gather together to build skills and discuss the guideline development process. Thursday, September 30, Toronto. Travel funding available.
E-Learning
E-Learning allows you to learn at your own pace and at times convenient to you. Three self-paced courses will be offered in the new year via an E-Learning platform. Click here for more information and check back regularly for updates on course topics and release dates.
